Last week, our Year 7 students adventured down to Corfe Castle for their bonding trip.
The trip began with a sing song in the buses courtesy of DJ Lucas, which Mrs Raymond found very entertaining! The first activity was the ‘high and low ropes’ which involved harnesses, helmets and climbing in the woods. Everyone showed great resilience and gave everything their best try. We had some superstar climbers too who showed no fear. Afterwards, it was back to camp for a lovely dinner and then some hot chocolate round the campfire.
Day two was all about Bramble Bay for canoeing and raft building. Apart from a few daredevils, everyone managed to stay afloat.
Everyone has had a fantastic trip away, including the teachers. What a brilliant way to start the year and getting to know each other. Year 7s are looking forward to a great year together.
