In Science, our Year 4 pupils have been learning about the human body and this topic was used as a basis for their wonderful class assembly. During the assembly, pupils explained about the functions of various parts of the human body including muscles, the digestive system, the brain, the skeleton and much more.
A group of ‘scientists’ helped deliver these facts in a fun way and this was supported by a well-choreographed skeleton dance and a song about the body.
Our class assemblies provide a great opportunity for parents and family members to find out about the teaching and learning that is taking place in class. In addition, children have the opportunity to speak in front of an audience, helping to build their confidence in public speaking.
