Since January, the Senior School Physics department has been working with the teachers and pupils in Year 1 and 2 to deliver exciting ‘Scientific Investigators’ lessons.
The children have covered a range of topics including forces, temperature, magnets and this week, sound.
Each month the pupils have been set a challenge and the best investigators have had the opportunity to complete an exciting experiment. Pupils have completed experiments using equipment to measure time, temperature and distances and they have relished the challenges presented to them. They have developed their practical skills and this week they concentrated on predicting what would happen next in the experiments.
A fun time has been had by all and everyone is looking forward to the next lesson.
