Southampton Music Festival success

Congratulations to the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Prep School Choirs and the Senior School Choir for their collective performance successes in the Southampton Music Festival.

The Key Stage 1 Choir was praised for their diction and their energy, enthusiasm and acting skills. They each received a medal for their performance. The Key Stage 2 Choir were praised by the judges for excellent breath control and successful two part singing and were awarded a distinction. They too received a medal.

The Senior School Choir achieved a high distinction for their performance which demonstrated excellent harmonies and intonation. They were awarded a trophy. All three choirs were excellent ambassadors for the school. Well done to all those who took part. 

Eloise joins Winchester Cathedral Girl Choristers

Congratulations go to Eloise in Year 7 who has been successful in gaining a place to sing with the Winchester Cathedral Girl Choristers.

Eloise has been offered one of only four places available and is now looking forward to taking part in Cathedral services during the coming year with the possibility of summer tours and BBC broadcasts.

Senior School Spring Concert

Musical talent will be on show at Embley next week at the Senior School Spring Concert which will take place in the Performing Arts Studio on Wednesday 27th March at 7.00pm. All members of the school community are welcome to attend.
