Embley pupils across the school enjoyed a celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Aesthetics and Mathematics as part of British Science Week, with an extended range of events and activities across the curriculum.
This year’s theme was biodiversity. In amongst the week of activities pupils were dissecting owl pellets, making seed bombs, creating geodes, designing and building robobunnies, studying tree bark and devising their own computer coding. Pupils took part in a STEAM quiz, which looked at the diverse range of experiments and investigations carried out by famous scientists. Great fun was had by all and we look forward to planning next year’s activities.
