Sixth Form Curriculum
Sixth Form at Embley offers the opportunity to study subjects that play to your academic strengths but that you will also gain joy from studying in greater depth. It is the most exciting part of your school journey as it paves the final road into life beyond school: be that at university or a degree apprenticeship.
Academic enrichment and personal fulfilment is found in the careful balance of challenge and support which is offered in the personalised curriculums, small class sizes, daily tutor sessions and rounded enrichment programme found at Embley. We combine innovation with tradition to offer you the best possible opportunity to discover who you are now, and who you want to be in 10, 20, and 30 years’ time.
This year we have adapted our approach to supporting students with your A Level decisions. Below you will find our Sixth Form Course Guide and introductory videos from our Heads of Department to help you make informed choices.

Furthermore, we cover our careers and wellbeing provision alongside our Oxbridge programme, the Nightingale lectures, and the MBA Experience, and the opportunities and experiences on offer at Embley that enable our pupils to become rounded individuals who have the knowledge, confidence and experience to feel empowered to make informed choices about their futures.
