Trips & Adventures
Independence, cooperation and tolerance are all characteristics that we nurture in our children. Our adventures are always memorable and fun for all. Children participate in trips every term as part of their academic studies – be it to Beaulieu Motor Museum to Longdown Activity Farm, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or Marwell Zoo. Our children also visit many local landmarks and places of interest in order to extend their knowledge and understanding gleaned in the classroom. In Year 5, children spend a week at the PGL Activity Centre on the Isle of Wight and our Year 6 children spend a week in France. Throughout the year, we invite a number of visitors into the Prep School. Theatre groups, poets and authors all visit Embley to add vibrancy and insight to our curriculum.
