Our sincere thanks to all pupils, staff and parents who contributed to Embley’s 2018 First World War Centenary Memorial. The ceramic poppies are now available for pupils and staff to take home. They are all-weather, will make a great addition to your garden and will allow the school’s memorial to live on for years to come.
The poppies have been relocated to the grass area by the Senior School’s Main Reception, just behind the low wall by the golf course. Pupils can take a poppy and make a voluntary donation at Reception. All donations will be sent to the Royal British Legion.
Our suggested voluntary donation is £10 per poppy, although you may donate what you wish. A Gift Aid form will be available at the Senior School Reception.
Pupils who would like to find the poppy that they originally made can look through the poppies to find and collect it. We kindly ask that this is done by Friday 15th February. After this time, all poppies are available in return for a donation.
