We have followed the Government’s guidance diligently, going beyond the statutory requirements to safeguard the health of our school community. We have advanced and robust plans in place for the new academic year and we will meet whatever requirements are set out by Government as all year groups return and our boarding house reopens.
Embley has adopted the Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) Covid-Safe Charter – a voluntary code to which aims to give confidence to everyone that the school follows appropriate measures to ensure a safe boarding environment for all pupils.
Until children from all year groups return to school, we are committed to providing continuity through our comprehensive remote learning programme.
During lockdown, our pupils used their school timetable as the framework for study each day, while teachers managed progress, provided support and used video conferencing to help deliver our curriculum with Embley’s ecosystem of digital resources and communication tools which form our Digital Learning Strategy.
The way in which our staff, our pupils, their families and our wider community have come together and embraced the challenges we face today represents the core of Embley’s being; bringing out the best in everyone.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
