Private home-school transport

We operate an extensive home-school transport system across Hampshire and Wiltshire to provide a safe and environmentally friendly way for your child to travel to school. Our team of friendly, responsible and MIDAS-accredited drivers are key members of our Embley community and know every child on their regular routes.

Children arrive safely at school by 08:20 each morning and afternoon buses leave at 17:00 on Mondays to Thursdays, so that pupils can enjoy our co-curricular programme, and 15:45 on Fridays. We operate a flexible virtual booking system. If families require a stop outside of the routes outlined below, please contact us and we will always try to do our best to accommodate new requirements.

For further information about this service, please contact our Transport Manager on 01794 512206 or by email.

‘Embley Explorer’

London families can benefit from an independent education in the country with the Embley Explorer service from Waterloo. Children can enjoy weekly boarding at the school and weekends at home following a short, fully escorted train journey on the Explorer.

Children are transferred to Southampton Airport Parkway station after school on Friday by private school minibus and arrive at London Waterloo around 18:30. On Sunday evenings, a member of our Boarding Family meets the children at London Waterloo and they will travel together on the Embley Explorer, arriving at school by 19:30. A packed supper will be provided and children have the opportunity to finish homework and catch up with friends during the journey under the supervision of our staff.
